Small Team, Big Dreams

As the new social media adviser for Diamond Coat, I genuinely wanted to understand the concept of what we’re trying to accomplish as a company, and to know more about its roots. After approaching the owner and my boss several times, he finally agreed to sit down with me and give some answers.

When starting the interview, I asked questions such as, ‘What is Diamond Coat?’ And ‘Why is it unique?” Levi was able to answer in detail with ease why he believes in his company and what he sees for its future. His answers surprised and humbled me. Levi’s perception of quality comes from his experience and knowledge, rather than ambition for personal fortune.

As a successful contractor for 10 years, Levi was able to see the contracting market shift and become too competitive to be profitable. After extensive research, trial and error and mistakes made, he was able to establish a foot in the unique niche market of epoxy. Instead of trying to monopolize the contracting industry by outbidding and outperforming all other competitors, he created an opportunity for contractors all over the United States to join our team and become prosperous themselves.

Using his resources, knowledge and skill sets, Levi created a team: a small one – to help him with his Diamond Coat vision. He can often be heard discussing that small teams make incredible things happen. Referencing his service in the Marines as one of many examples, he believes that small, tight-knit groups can change the world.

In order to execute his vision, we now offer training, business tools and a proven formula for victory to any individual that wants to advance into a new era of technology and science. Additionally, contractors render a quality product that exceeds customer’s expectations. Something that I believe is Levi’s most important element of his vision.

Each day, our team is constantly striving to be better and innovate. Every member of our team is different, but equally as important in the contribution to our successes. You’ll often catch our fearless leader cracking jokes or trying to make the work place more enjoyable and comfortable, with frequent words of praise and encouragement – no doubt what any team leader should do.
